How We Began- One Woman's Promise

Picture
Save Them ALL, Inc. began in the heart of one woman- one woman who witnessed the suffering of a loved one as a child. Being a child herself, she was helpless to run to the defense of her friend, but she never forgot the struggles her friend endure, or the helplessness she felt in being too young to have a voice. She vowed to herself, one day, she would make a difference in any child's life who was suffering.

Save Them All, Inc. was founded on that promise to herself as a child... That woman's name is Carrie Simon. Welcome to her dream and her passion. One woman's quest to "SAVE THEM ALL."
Carrie has been an outspoken advocate for children and youth for nearly a decade. Her passion has only grown stronger through the years. With the release of her first book, Save Them ALL, in 2014, she realized her writings could grant her another portal to reach the public and raise awareness to serious issues plaguing our children and youth. The latter part of 2016, Carrie decided to move forward creating an online presence, despite her desire for privacy.  She had a website for her career as an author designed along with several social media accounts opened. In 2018. Save Them ALL Inc. received its recognition as a non-profit organization. Although all profits for Carrie's novels have always been allocated to her charity, Save Them ALL, Inc. is a stand alone non-profit. (You may view her author site by clicking her picture below.)

Through the years Carrie has made countless appearances in churches, schools, book signings, and events, speaking to children and youth to guide them on the right path. She has mentored hundreds of lost youth over the years, several of whom chose life instead suicide through her mentoring programs.  Some of these young overcomers have joined her cause, speaking openly about their battle and their victories, and how one woman believing in them has changed their life forever. Meeting an incredible amount of our youth who were contemplating suicide is what prompted her journey for her third novel, Maker of Difference.

With the help of local law enforcement, Carrie has also organized public events like fingerprinting to ensure all parents have quick access to their children's file in case of abduction or other tragedies. Her personal author page and her Save Them ALL page on Facebook help spread the word when Amber Alerts are given. Her pages are not limited to Acadiana children and neither is her speaking.

Child Trafficking

Missing / Abducted Children

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation an estimate of about 460,000 children go missing each year. These are just the ones that they know about. Everyday children's lives are completely destroyed. Some we know about but there are so many cases that we don't know. In 2018, there were 424,066 National Crime Information Center (NCIC) entries for missing children. Any amount of missing children is way too much! In 2018 the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) assisted law enforcement and families with more than 25,000 cases of missing children. 957 children have been successfully reco vered as a result of Amber alert program. We all need to be alert and keep our eyes open so we can help find more children and help them get to their homes. NCMEC is currently assisting with more than 708 cases of unidentified children's remains and so far has assisted in 139 identifications. Children should never have to go through this. They should know what a happy childhood is and should never be torn from their homes.

CHILD TRAFFICKING

Picture
Every single day that we are living our lives, a child's life is being destroyed. Innocent children are manipulated, lied to, and threatened to engage in sexual encounters against their will. Teens become a big target because that's when they start getting romantically involved. They get involved romantically with someone who is actually a trafficker. They also get tricked when being offered jobs. Acting, modeling, and even babysitting jobs are being used to attract young teens who can't notice something is wrong. From 2007 to 2017, the National Human Trafficking Hotline, operated by Polaris, has received reports of 34,700 sex trafficking cases in the U.S.. The International Labor Organization estimates that there are 4.8 million people trapped enforced sexual exploitation globally.

RUNAWAYS

Each year around 4.2 million youth and young adults experience homelessness. According to Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System, over 500 children in the U.S. ran away from either their foster home or wherever placed in 2017. Youth around the age of 15 are more of a higher risk of running away when placed in foster care. Runaway and homeless youth are more vulnerable to many things such as, drugs, disease, prostitution, untreated mental health disorders, suicide, and even being trafficked. According to National Sexual Violence Resource Center, one in three teens on the street will be lured into prostitution within just 48 hours of leaving home. There are many reasons they leave home, abuse and violence are just a couple.

How YOU can help....

Be a voice! They say it takes a village to raise a child. For every neglected or abused child, we need ten adults standing in the arena defending them. Our social system is bombarded with thousands of calls daily they cannot keep up with. And sadly, they don't receive calls when they should. For more information on how you can help, please contact us.  We are happy to steer you in the direction best suited for you based on your location,  time to commit, financial ability, and other criteria.
